The Catalyst Experience

Having grown up with a father who was ridiculed and shunned because he was different was a burden I have carried for most of my life. These struggles have instilled in me an acute sense of injustice and a strong desire to help others.

In my early 20s, I began writing my story to try to understand the demons that controlled my mind. Through constant analysis of my ongoing struggles, as well as those from the past, I began shedding layers of my old self. This was no easy feat; it demanded constant work and awareness of both the old me and the new me I aspired to be. This was the only way to become who I believed I was always meant to be.

When I began to sift through the ruins of my childhood, I immediately knew I was meant for more—I had discovered my purpose. My purpose was to help others, to motivate them to become the best versions of themselves. I would accomplish this by sharing not only my struggles but also the lessons I learned along the way.

The path to get here has been filled with monumental triumphs in my personal life, many of which I experienced in isolation and solitude. The people I met around the world and the many job titles I have held have played major roles in shaping who I am today.

Let us gather as our ancestors once did around a fire. Let us share so we can learn, let us learn so we can grow, and let us grow so we may pass our knowledge down to others. The Catalyst Experience is about living a moment that ignites a new beginning within ourselves. It is about listening to the stories of others so we can see more brightly and more clearly.

Our gatherings are about creating a spark together—as a group, a community, and even a clan. Let us work together to turn that spark into embers, and then into a fire that warms all of our souls. When nightfall descends upon us and we return to our villages, let us take back something special. Let us carry an ember with us, so that while we are apart, we can keep the fire burning within ourselves.
